Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The E&I Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the installation, of electrical and instrumentation systems. This individual will ensure that all work is performed according to established industry safety and quality standards while meeting project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of E&I technicians and electricians, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure their professional development and success.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to plan and execute E&I-related projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to established specifications.
• Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional initiatives and improve overall plant performance.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Monitor and manage the E&I team's performance, providing regular feedback and performance evaluations to support their growth and development.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures, promoting a culture of safety within the E&I team.
• Continuously stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to ensure that our E&I systems are operating at peak performance.
• Supervisor must be able and willing to work as foreman or electrician if required in special cases.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Instrumentation, or a related technical field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in an E&I supervisory role, preferably in industrial projects in foreign countries.
• Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
• Problem-solving abilities, with a focus on finding solutions to complex issues.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in all aspects of work.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical and instrumentation drawings and schemes.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

The candidate will be assessed on the following:

• E&I Theory (comprehensive understanding of industry standards, specifications and codes, connection schemes, and related concepts.)
• Ability to accurately read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Ability to effectively lead teams of E&I Foreman, Electricians and Technicians.
• Demonstrated hands-on ability to effectively perform the required tasks:
  • Cable pulling.
  • Cable trays installation.
  • Cable connections.
